About Me

I’m Georgie, a dedicated Ashtanga yoga teacher with a passion for helping you reconnect with your body, mind and spirit. My teaching is grounded in the belief that yoga is more than just a physical practice, it is a path to personal transformation, healing and balance.

My yoga classes reflect a deep love for human connection, focusing on creating supportive communities, where students can breath, move, connect and transform. Fortunately the by-product of yoga is reduced stress, increased strength and flexibility.
Having travelled to India for six months to deepen my practice, I’ve returned to focus on sharing the transformative benefits of Ashtanga yoga with others. I'd love for you to join me on your own personal journey with yoga, whilst being held within a supportive community.

This course expanded my knowledge of anatomy and its application to yoga, enhancing my ability to tailor classes with a focus on safety, alignment, and individual needs.

Ongoing Studies

I am currently continuing my education in the Philosophy of Yoga and Spiral Anatomy, exploring deeper aspects of the practice and how the body's natural movement patterns influence the experience of yoga. This ongoing learning helps me stay connected with the evolving nature of both the physical and spiritual elements of yoga, which I integrate into my teaching.

“Georgie has transformed the way I breathe, my understanding of my body and ignited a passion for yoga that I now think I’ll take through the rest of my life.”

Testimonials

“Georgie is a very patient, supportive and understanding Yogi.  I’m comparatively new to yoga and after many years of sport induced injuries, I initially struggled with some of the most basic moves but after a couple of sessions with Georgie, I found I had a much better range of movement and I always feel so much better after yoga than I did before.

Georgie will always give you a range of options in her moves so you can make your own choice as to how far you want to go on any given day depending on how you feel.”

Duncan Wade

“I have practiced Yoga (on/off) for 25 years in various settings, with many different teachers. I can honestly say Georgie is THE BEST yoga teacher I have had. She is able to constantly remind you when to breath in/out in each posture and transition as well as what body parts to concentrate on, which muscles to contract, stretch etc. No teacher I have had has been able to give so many detailed verbal cues and still remain effortlessly calm and tranquil in her delivery. All this on top of honouring and gradually teaching the origins and purpose of yoga. The mental and emotional well being from her lessons has been transformative.”
